The most common question we get at booking: “what's the difference, and which one do I need?” Here's the honest guide.
What each one covers
An exterior detail (from $40) is the outside: wash, wheels, windows, finish protection depending on package. An interior detail (from $110) is everything inside: deep vacuum, carpets and upholstery, panels, vents, glass. A full detail (from $140) is both in one visit.
Book an interior detail if…
The inside is the problem. Kids, pets, a winter's worth of gravel and salt ground into the carpet, coffee that made it to the console, a smell you can't find. If you're mostly happy with how the outside looks after a wash, don't pay for work you don't need.
Book a full detail if…
It's been more than a year since the last proper detail — or ever. You're selling or trading in: a clean, corrected vehicle photographs better, shows better, and gives a buyer one less thing to negotiate down. Or it's a seasonal reset — after a Saskatchewan winter, the outside took as much abuse as the inside did.
The math usually favours the full
Look at the numbers: interior from $110, full from $140. If the exterior needs anything at all, the jump to a full detail is small — which is why most first-time customers land there.
